Welcome to The Oval Montessori Nursery
Exceptional childcare services in Vauxhall Park, London

The Oval Montessori Nursery (Est 1989) provides a happy, nurturing environment for 20 children 2.5 to 5 years in a unique park location.

Our classrooms are prepared environments designed to support the child's needs for purposeful activity. They are divided into separate areas which interrelate. These areas are Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Maths and Culture (see below). We appreciate that each child is different and we give them an individualised work programme allowing them to develop at their own pace.

The children are free to choose their own activities or 'work' from any of the areas along with art projects and imaginative play. They can work alone or with others they can also just choose to watch. We gather together at least once a day for stories songs and chat.

 The Team

Staff at the Oval Montesseori school are highly qualified, nurturing and well experienced with young children.

We have two Montessori teachers and an assistant. We also have music, dance and yoga teachers.

You are welcome to make an appointment to come and visit our nursery and see us in action!
